Sunridge Ministries is born…

When God first revealed the vision for what would eventually become Inspire Total Wellness to me (Joanne) in July 2019, I knew it was destined to be a non-profit organization. At the time, I often referred to it as my "legacy dream" when speaking to God, envisioning its purpose and potential. I sketched designs, wrote down plans, but it wasn't until my own near-death experience in August 2021, closely following the loss of my father, just a few months before, that the path forward and the place for its realization became clear to me.

Dealing with considerable impatience and navigating significant health challenges, I initially opted to establish Inspire Total Wellness as an LLC. Over the past two and a half years, Inspire Total Wellness has flourished within the supportive environment of In Due Season Birthing Center. We are immensely grateful to Lucie, Khamissa, Dr. Ledbetter, and the entire team for their steadfast support during this time. Throughout these years, God has abundantly blessed Inspire Total Wellness and consistently reminded me of the need to transition to a non-profit status.

On Mother’s Day 2024, I revisited all the sketches, notes outlining our mission and vision, and compiled everything to formally submit the paperwork to the State of Florida for the establishment of Sunridge Ministries.

About the name…

Naturally, my initial choice would have been to directly convert Inspire Total Wellness into a non-profit entity. However, this path wasn't feasible due to the inability to retain the exact name. I prayed earnestly for guidance on how to encapsulate the entire vision under a single new name. One morning, during my prayer time, the image of our new logo came to me, along with the name Sunridge Ministries. A beautiful name that would also serve as a tribute to my father, whose passing paved the way for all these endeavors to materialize.

Sunridge Ministries is dedicated to embodying the core tenets of Christian love, compassion, and spiritual growth. Our mission is to serve our community and beyond, providing a nurturing environment that fosters holistic wellness for individuals of all ages. 

Within our Healing Center, individuals, families, and groups will discover a comprehensive approach to health and well-being, guided by a team of dedicated professionals who honor their unique life journeys. Grounded in faith, compassion, and a holistic perspective, we strive to address the needs of the whole person. 

Adjacent to our Healing Center, our retreat facilities offer sanctuary and renewal for those seeking rest and restoration. Here, amidst serene surroundings, individuals, families, and groups can find respite while participating in our diverse educational programs or receiving treatment at the Healing Center. 

Our vision extends beyond mere provision to sustainability. Through ample green spaces, serene gardens, and innovative aquaponic pavilions, we aim to create a self-sustaining sanctuary where individuals can find solace, reflection, and nourishment for the body, mind, and spirit.

Our current reality…

In the months ahead of 2024, everything encompassed by Inspire Total Wellness, LLC will transition into Sunridge Ministries, thereby realizing our comprehensive vision. Throughout this transition phase, both entities will operate concurrently at our new "temporary" location, 12851 Fort King Road, Dade City, Florida—a location enthusiastically endorsed by our Board of Directors. As Sunridge Ministries grows with the support of our community, our objective is to secure our permanent home—a minimum of 10 acres—where the Healing Center and Retreat Centers will be established and flourish.

Inspire Total Wellness and Sunridge Ministries owe their existence to you—our supportive friends and families—who have entrusted us with your health and the well-being of your loved ones. In the weeks and months ahead, we will continue to serve patients at our current clinic space at In Due Season and will be diligently improving our new location. This includes painting, decorating, and beautifying the nearly 2-acre yard.
